June: Summer Reading 2013 "Dig Into READING!"
TIME TO SIGN UP....Down at the Library!
For ages 6-11 or those who have completed first grade, Monday afternoons in June 2:00-3:30 p.m. Children will be grouped by age to enjoy reading, crafts, or games. We need two or more helpers with each age group. If you would like to volunteer, please contact the library, as we plan to ‘excavate our way’ into some fun!
Too young? Kids who have not completed first grade may attend the Thursday morning preschool Summer Reading. 11:30-12:30, with an adult who remains with child.
Summer and Fall
Summer: FIVE! Read 5 this Summer! That's the game plan! All across Oklahoma students and adults too are being asked to please read 5 books this summer. At least 5. You can keep reading if you want, but 5 is the goal for us all. FIVE!
Art Teacher Nancy Levings may be offering summer classes for children again at a reasonable fee.
Details coming soon!

September: Hooker Car Show, prize drawings all over town. It was bigger than Tulsa's show in 2012. For more info, check www.hookercarshow.com. Bring your car, your motorcycle, your antique tractor, and Ma and the kids!

December: Friends of the Library present the Christmas Tour of Homes, our annual fundraiser.
Three or more homes filled with festive cheer will offer guided tours and refreshments, while your tickets will cheer the library with funds for Summer Reading Supplies, or performers, new computers and more!
This year a new feature will be a special handmade doll house that will be offered as a fund raiser.
